Glow of the Dawn and OrangeAutumn skies

I took a morning walk and feeling excited and cold, I know it´s just gonna be a great day. I don´t know, my body clock is just set on waking up early, I can´t stay in bed longer than 6 o´clock! There´s something about watching the breaking of Dawn that hooked me. The stillness of the empty streets, the bright street lights, the blinks and changing colors of the traffic signs, the soft wind, and of course, the changing colors of the skies.

The fact that I´m standing alone in the street really makes me feel so small and on the bright side, unbothered. Well at least I have the best views…

My neighbourhood is surprisingly quiet around this time.I love the autumn feels in my neighbourhood. Only few cyclists busied themselves in the streets, probably going on some early errands. It´s Autumn break so schools are closed, furthermore, the children are probably still snoring in their beds. I recognized the same old man, walking his dog, actually two dogs, with lights attached on their necks. I find it funny though. When I run, I often bump into him because he also frequented the paths along the river.

Then there´s this lady, walking with sticks. She´s really sporty and fit, I love her attitude because she´s also an early-riser. She probably doesn´t need to go to work anymore and just enjoy her time.

It only takes a few minutes to admire this beauty and it´s gone. If you´re slow then it will be gone in seconds, and skies turned once again into gray.I am glad I took a snap of it, engraving it in my memory and added to my archives. I wished I could watched pricely sunrises like this, if I have the luxury of time and not bothered by daily routines and chores. Still reflecting on this, I stumbled upon the photo calandar that my friend had gave me.it has a nice verse on it about autumn, sorry it´s written in German but I´ll try to translate. I find it really meaningful and would like to share with you.

" Das Leben ist für mich wie die Jahreszeiten.
Der Frühling ist unsere Kindheit.
Der Sommer kommt, wenn wir beginnen,
nach unseren Traümen zu greifen.
Der Herbst steht für diese besondere Zeit,
wenn wir ein wenig kürzer treten, innehalten,
entspannen und unser bischeriges Leben überdenken."
- Die Weisheit deines Herzens

It´s a perfect time to take a minute and pause. It doesn´t need to be long, as long as it´s meaningful. It says life is like the seasons. Spring is our childhood. When summer comes when we start to reach our dreams.Autumn stands when we start to take a slower pace in life, relax, and reflect on our bizaare life. It all comes out from the wisdom of our heart.

After my moment of reflection, I hopped again on my bike and cycled over the bridge where I had a glimpse of the colorful autumn foliage reflected on Danube river. What a morning. Now I hurried to go to bakery to get some fresh bread , knowing that the reality of life awaits for me.

How was your morning so far?

Ever wondered why Orange color is so distracting? or why I find peace in hikingin the Mountains?

Until then,Tschüss!

A Dawn’s Transformation

The story of the transformation of dawn

“You are always one decision away from a totally different life..”

Though I am fully embracing my “Life in Seasons”, everyday, I still struggle about German weather. It changes every now and then and I find it really challenging especially when I am caught up with so many things to do and so little time. I still need to master the way how locals  go on with their day with their mantra :

” There is no such thing as bad weather, only unsuitable clothing “.

As I go on with my day,  I found  wisdom from watching the transformation of the dawn prior to sunrise. Here’s the thing, I am not a fan of the cold. Frost finally arrived in Germany, in some parts it’s already snowing. Although I am not excited about the coming winter, I still embrace it as part of the change, but there is nothing more fascinating than to watch the dawn transforms into a colorful palette of colors in the sky. At least for me, it works. This one I truly love watching and if I have the chance, I go for it! I think watching the sky turns into a myriad of colors and hues can never be a boring sight .

This, amongst other things is special. It’s like an art story that only Artists can tell.

Today’s Awakening hour

Everyday, as I drop my daughter to her Kindergarten, I passed by to this nearby sports field. It’s a huge field where children play football, rain or shine, showers and fog. Oh yes, if you live in Germany, the sight of people doing sports like running, Nordic walking and especially playing football is normal, no matter what the weather is. On Sundays, where it is considered as “Ruhetag”( or Quiet day) , most teens are playing sports. The place where I live is also near to another sports complex , so this is nothing new to me. I always hear the noise when people are playing so eventually, I knew exactly what is happening when there’s a tournament or a game.

The past weeks have been cloudy and wet, most of the time with constant pouring rains but the last days, we are rewarded with beautiful weather. But as it is the German weather, this things doesn’t last for long. It is fleeting. The transformation is so short, that in span of minutes, the sky is changed into something magical, into a boring, grey, clouded sight.

Nature’s transformation

Before rushing to my German class, I managed to stop and snap some photos of the sky just to document this fleeting moment. Call me crazy but when I see these things, I can’t help but to admire nature, even in its simplest forms. I recalled that last year, I have witnessed a radical fire-burning Autumn skies, but this year, I noticed that they are less.

A golden sunrise in Germany

I found my inspiration while watching this dawn’s transformation for about two minutes. As I hopped into my bike and go on with my day, I realized that within this fleeting inch of the fraction of my time, I saw a transformation that can never be recalled. While everybody is in chaotic morning rush mood—- going to work, rushing to school and dropping their children to Kindergarten and running errands,I found minutes to calm me down.

It’s automatic, piloted by nature, something so raw, simple, and yet precious. In modern times where beauty can be tampered with technology, this is called unfiltered beauty.

Have you seen something like this lately?

How do you manage to start your day while in chaotic morning rush?

Atmospheric optics

The view from our Kitchen this morning.

After grey skies and rain almost everyday, I was surprised to watch something different this morning. The colors of the sky is just too beautiful for me to ignore. While everyone was still sleeping and the cold wind is creeping into my pyjamas, I put on my jacket, get my camera and through my sleep deprived-eyes– I watched in silence as the sky shows its atmospheric optics. I began to take some photos, and savor the fleeting moment.

Watching this particular sunrise made me wonder what is Atmospheric Optics? Red, orange and pink clouds occur almost entirely at sunrise and sunset and are the result of the scattering of sunlight by the atmosphere. I have written about my amazement when I witness an hour of Fireworks display but this one beats that Guinness world record, mainly because this one is natural, uncontrolled, raw, and genuine work of nature. As every sunrise is different everyday, a beautiful sunrise is already a  Priceless world record.

Priceless world record : Atmospheric optics today Nov. 18,2016

I have already shared many times  my reasons why I love sunrises and sunsets, and even now that I’m living here in Germany, I still do. It is my habitual habit to always look from the window and check the skies. I would always get up early just to witness anything like this. It’s really worth it, because some things are really not!

My own private party in the sky this morning

I feel sluggish waking up so early but this beauty is so overwhelming. It’s like a free slideshow, doesn’t cost anything, and all I have to do is get out there and witness it. What If I decided to wake up til my alarm goes up? For the past days I am feeling gloomy because of the weather and today I had been out for a treat. I don’t know about you but gazing up and sun-gazing provide healing for me–not in a way that I am sick, but it just made me feel better, about myself, and of the world. Now I know why our ancestors worship the sun for so many reasons.

The tiny houses looks out-of-place from the beautiful trivalent backdrop caused by atmospheric optics display.

What’s the first thing you do upon waking up and before going to work? If you respond by taking shower then you are definitely missing out on something.

Take time to look outside from your window–even for a brief moment, your inspiration might be there. I just did.

Goodnight my friends and thank you for stopping by to read! Hoping that you all have a wonderful weekend!
